The fire spread quickly due to the densely packed shelters, putting hundreds of lives at risk.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the origin of the fire. While no official report on casualties has been released, aid agencies are on high alert to provide assistance to affected families and prevent secondary fires.

The densely populated camp, which hosts thousands of Rohingya refugees, remains vulnerable to fire hazards due to close proximity of shelters and limited emergency infrastructure.
