The Duleep Trophy 2025 kicks off India’s domestic red-ball season, starting from the 28th of this month and happening until September 15. This edition is bringing back the classic zonal knockout structure, after last year’s selection-based four-team format.
The quarter finals commencing from August 28 are going to put North Zone against East Zone and Central Zone against North-East Zone. You can find South Zone and West Zone directly entering the semifinals in the tournament.
The entire tournament is to be staged at BCCI’s Centre of Excellence, Bengaluru, across Ground 1 and Ground 2. There are a number of popular names part of this season, including Shubman Gill, Dhruv Jurel, Ishan Kishan and Mohammed Shami.
