Gold prices in Bangladesh still reflect the international market and the Bangladeshi Taka’s strength. On the 6th of November 2025, 24-karat gold is priced approximately at ৳15,642.10 per gram, which reflects only a slight correction from the highest point reached last week. The 18-carat gold price is about ৳11,731.58 per gram and 14-carat gold is close to being priced at around 9,150.63 BDT-per gram.
The prices may differ very slightly from one place to another, but usually, Dhaka being the capital city, higher rates are observed as a result of the higher cost of labor and retail there while, Chittagong and Sylhet could have prices lower or at least on par with those of Dhaka. In addition to these local factors, retailer premiums, craftsmanship charges, and purity variations also contribute to the final price consumers have to pay.
