On 25 April 2025, actor Ilias Kanchan launched his new political party which has been named as ‘Janata Party Bangladesh’. He is not only an actor but also holds the responsibility of chief of the Road Safety Advocacy Group Nirapad Sara Chai. During the inauguration of his political party he quoted his previous experience of promoting road safety for the safe and better ride for the people of his country. And he has revealed the 27 members of the central committee of his party and expressed their interest in applying for registration with the election commission.
