A Star-Studded End to 2025
The last four months of 2025 are going to be an absolute blockbuster season of Bollywood featuring a mixture of action thrillers, emotional romances, and the disease of big-budget entertainment films. The lineup includes highly anticipated sequels such as Baaghi 4 এবং Jolly LLB 3, alongside intriguing original films like The Bengal Files এবং Vijeyta. Major festive weekends, especially Diwali and Christmas, are pitched to be full-blown battles at the box office with a host of stars such as Kartik Aaryan, Ajay Devgn, এবং Sreeleela leading the charge in big-ticket releases. The entire line-up of Bollywood films releasing between September and December 2025 is as follows.
September & October Releases: Action, Drama, and Fresh Stories
The month of September begins strongly with three films taking the opening on 5 September, namely: Baaghi 4, which is the latest installment of the high-energy franchise, Mirai, which would be a unique sci-fi drama, and the political thriller The Bengal Files, which will create a ruckus. A week onward, on 12 September, we have Heer Express, another family entertainment. In November, the thriller Yemreyga and the crime drama Dabangg 3, headlined by Akshay Kumar, can be enjoyed by moviegoers by 19 September.
October is equally promising. Three films are released on the same day (2 October): Ikkis, a war-themed biopic by Sriram Raghavan; Kantara: A Legend Chapter -1, an extension of the Rishab Shetty cultural flick; and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a quirky romance film. This is followed later in the month on 21 October with Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, a love saga. Moreover, Thama will be out in October, though another exact date is not specified.
November & December: Sequels, Spectacles, and Festive Blockbusters
The second last month of the year upholds the tempo with big sequels and original dramas. On November 14, the highly anticipated romantic comedy is De De Pyaar De 2. Coming out a week later, 21 November, 120 Bahadur promises all the intensity, 28 November, Tere Ishk Mein enters with romance to the mix.
December closes 2025 with a grand flourish. On 5 December, three releases will pop up: Dhurandhar, The Raja Saab, এবং Arjun Ustara. The second weekend, 12 December, is of Jighansa, a suspense thriller. Christmas is going to be the most memorable with three major movies releasing on Christmas, that is on the 25th December, Prabhas-starrer Alpha, the gritty Dacoit, and next, Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela starrer, a romantic entertainer which is expected to attract a huge audience.
Ending the year is Shakti Shalini on 31 December, which is an apt end to a fabulous cinematic year. There is a variety in the September-December 2025 calendar in Bollywood, ranging from patriotic sagas to courtroom comedies, from mass entertainers to experimental dramas.
