‘Altyn Minbar’ is also called as the Kazan International Film Festival is an annual event held in Kazan of Tatarstan to celebrate and honor the feature films, documentaries, short films and animated works that are selected from across the regions to premiere in the festival. They are filtered and selected based on the themes they promote through their stories and narratives including moral values, interfaith dialogue, humanity, tolerance and peace.

The two powerful narratives and the production from the Bangladeshi creative industry ‘The Pair of White Pigeons’ and ‘Mighty Afrin in the Time of Floods’ has been nominated in the festival and this recognition is more than a festival nod but a moment of pride which echoes the strength of cinematic voice of Bangladesh on the global humanitarian themes profoundly.
