BAN vs SING: Will Bangladesh National Football team Qualify for the Asian Cup?

Along with the Bangladesh National Football team, there are three more teams taking part in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers under the group C which includes India, Hong Kong and Singapore. In the standings no team has secured neither a win nor a loss. As of 10 June 2025, both India and Hong Kong have played 2 matches each and both ended in draws. Whereas, Bangladesh and Singapore finished 1 match each and it was also drawn.

Will the Bangladesh National Team qualify?

According to the stat of AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers, a team which finishes their position on the top of their group will be qualified to the biggest tournament. While looking at the possibilities of Bangladesh National team, 

• Total matches for each team is 6
• Each match carries 3 points and a draw match has 1 point
• Including Bangladesh all the other teams has earned 1 point
• Bangladesh is left with 5 more games in which one will be taking place today (10 June 2025)
• If they finish the table with five wins & 16 points at the end of the qualifiers.
