It is all geared towards one of the most awaited cricket events as the Asia cup 2025 is back in September this year all set to debut a new format, an extended team line-up, and a format-packed schedule. Having been all situated in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), this tournament version is anticipated to bring along with it the heat-packed cricketing action, and India and Pakistan keep on being at the centre of the excitement.
The qualifiers and finals will take place between 9 September and 28 September with 19 matches being played in T20 format. Eight teams will be expected to participate in the Asia Cup 2025 and this will be divided into two groups of four. This format substitutes a group stage, a Super Four and a final.

Grouping and schedule have been settled by Asian Cricket Council (ACC):
- Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE, Oman
- Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Hong Kong
Every team in a group will play with others once over. The best two group wise will get to the Super Four stage which will consist of a round robin system. The Super Four will have the best two teams playing against each other on September 28.

- Sept 20–25: Super Four Stage
- Sept 28: Final
Super Four group commences on September 20 with six matches in 6 days followed by the final battle.
Tickets Yet to Be Released
Ticket Sales have not yet begun officially, as of yet, Asia Cup 2025 will still be a long way off. The ACC has not confirmed the platform or pricing. It is anticipated that the offering of tickets will be done by ACC official site and potentially through real-life terminals at UAE stadiums. The fans are required to keep tabs on the ACC announcements so that they can book early before the matches sell off quickly as is the case with India vs Pakistan.
Broadcast and Streaming Details
People who cannot watch the matches themselves, Sony Sports Network have the rights to broadcast them, specifically in the Indian sub continent. Each and every match will be broadcasted live on Sony Sports TV channels, as well as SonyLIV app and site.
