WWE Evolution 2025 offered one of the most unpredictable events in the history of wrestling recently because Naomi won by cashing her Money in the Bank contract to get the title of the new Women’s World Champion. The end of the game, which was at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, came with an unanticipated move that shocked fans and social media. The Money in the Bank cash-in by Naomi in the main event created pandemonium as Naomi successfully won the Women’s World Championship, which made a historical event in her career in WWE.
The holder of the Money in the Bank contract had an earlier loss earlier in the night in a no-holds-barred match, which was won by Jade Cargill, with Bianca Belair as the special guest referee. Nevertheless, this loss did not make Naomi give up, just being patient until an ideal moment came, which is exactly the brilliance of the Money in the Bank concept that cannot be ignored.
The Main Event Battle Between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley
The women’s singles match involving defending champion Iyo Sky and challenger Rhea Ripley was quite spectacular. Both of these superstars provided a clinic, and this is why they have been regarded as two of the best in the women’s division. There was no way the WWE Evolution 2025 could end without any bang, and Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky gave each other a classic in their main event match for the Women’s World Championship.
The matchup was very intense as both opponents employed all the available moves. Ripley and Sky exchanged brutal hits during the game, and neither woman quivers to surrender. The move even bled out of the ring several times, where Sky performed a suicide dive and a top rope missile dropkick. The champ was able to pull off the poisonrana; however, Ripley showed some tough resilience, kicking out of the almost pin.
Ripley managed to come back with her power moves as she had a Razor Edge and a sitting powerbomb. It culminated at the epitome of the match when Sky thwarted an attempt by the Riptide, and there was a top rope sequence. In this match-up, a missile dropkick accidentally hit Jessika Carr, the referee, leaving the match unofficially monitored.
On getting the referee down, Ripley took the chance and landed the finisher Riptide, but with nobody to count the pin. The match went on with both of the ladies brawling their way towards the audience and Sky finally dropping a spectacular cross body off the top of road cases to Ripley, who lay on the floor. In the ring, Sky powerbombed Ripley on the floor, then got the latter back to the ring.
