The two test series between শ্রীলঙ্কা and Bangladesh has ended with the dominating victory of Sri Lanka who conquered the series as well by defeating Bangladesh through an innings win. The fourth day of the second test began on 28 June 2025 at SSC stadium and Bangladesh began their second innings with 211 runs. The pacers and the spinners wrapped the batting order of the Lions too early at 133 runs. Among the bowlers shining the brighter, the slow left-arm orthodox player ‘Prabath Jayasuriya’ who registered his 12th 5 wicket haul in his test career.
