Guyana Amazon Warriors defeated the defending champions of Global Super League Rangpur Riders by 32 runs in the final showdown. Analysing the home ground, skipper Imran Tahir chose to bat first after winning the toss and smashed 196 runs at the end of the 20 overs. With 197 runs as the target Rangpur Riders landed in their second innings yet they could not find an anchoring partnership throughout their chasing. Losing all the wickets they have been wrapped at 164 runs in 19.5 over.
With this massive victory Guyana clinched their first ever title of GSL in the 2025 edition.
