The Islamic Foundation Bangladesh has officially announced the Fitrana rates for 2026 (1447 Hijri) based on the current prices of basic foods on the market.

Maximum: ৳2,805

Every Muslim who is eligible must pay at least the minimum amount, but those who can afford to give more are encouraged to do so.

Fitrana Rates in Detail

The amount of Zakat-ul-Fitr changes based on the food item used as a guide:

Wheat/Flour (½ sāʿ ≈ 1.65 kg): ৳110 (Minimum)

Barley (1 sāʿ ≈ 3.3 kg): 595

Dates (1 sāʿ ≈ 3.3 kg): 2,475

1 sāʿ of raisins costs ৳2,640.

Cheese (1 sāʿ ≈ 3.3 kg): ৳2,805 (Most)
