The online application window for aone-time Tk 6,000 admission grant from the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust for HSC-level students will close today at 11:59 pm. The grant is intended to alleviate the financial strain for the meritorious but poor learners who are entering Class XI and Alim first year in the academic year 2025-26.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
The assistance is available for students admitted to Class XI and Alim 1st year in government and private institutions under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Directorate of Technical Education and Directorate of Madrasa Education. Eligibility: Must be meritorious (minimum 60% marks or GPA 3.50 in previous exam) OR financially insolvent (annual income of the guardian below Tk 3 lakh).
Special Beneficiaries
Orphans, students with disabilities or whose parents are disabled, children of chronically ill guardians, children of freedom fighters from low-income families, extremely poor students (children of low-income labourers), and children of Grade-20 government employees are also given priority. They are asked to upload supporting documents such as disability certificates, income certificates and a certificate of poverty issued by the union parishad chairman, municipality or city corporation ward councillor.

How to Apply & Where
The entire application is online via the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust admission portal: https://eservice.pmeat.gov.bd/admission. Applicants must upload their admission evidence (Class XI/Alim 1st year admission document), mark sheet, income documents, and any special case certificates. No physical copy needs to be forwarded to the Trust.
