Eid-ul-Azha, an important Islamic festival which is also called as ‘Festival of Sacrifice’ for its unique devotional story behind.

The Significance

This festival commemorates the willingness of Prophet Abraham who sacrificed his son after the command given by the God in his dream. However, he has been provided ram for his immeasurable sacrifice. 

Long Holiday!

As per the given information it is official that the public holiday will be observed for 10 days ahead of the auspicious ‘Eid-ul-Azha’ in Bangladesh. It has been confirmed by the Press Secretary of the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh, Shafiqul Alam.
