Fans of Bangladeshi television drama have reason to cheer. Popular on-screen pair Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Naznin Niha are reuniting for a new drama after several months apart.
New Drama With S R Mozumder
The untitled project is written and directed by S R Mozumder, and the duo are currently shooting for it. The two will play a married couple. Mozumder said this is his 24th project with Apurba but his first time working with the two as a pair. It is also his first collaboration with Niha. He said the team is trying to tell a different kind of relationship story.
A Hit Pair on Screen
Apurba and Niha first worked together in Zakaria Soukhin’s Mon Duari in early 2025, which has since crossed 40 million views. They later appeared in Meghbalika, Ghran and Ochena Ami, and each of these has reportedly passed 10 million views.

Why the Break Happened
There was no news of the pair shooting together after March. Following Eid-ul-Fitr, Apurba spent a long time in the United States with his family. Niha also took time away to focus on her family. During this period, she announced her engagement in a Facebook post and may marry later this year.
More Projects Together
The two are expected to appear in two more upcoming dramas as well. That should be welcome news for viewers who have followed the pairing since Mon Duari.
What Fans Can Expect
Playing a married couple gives the duo a new kind of role after their earlier love stories. Details such as the drama’s title and release date have not yet been announced.
Final Thoughts
With strong viewership and loyal fans, the Apurba and Niha pair remains one of the most-watched duos in Bangladeshi television. Their return, and two more projects on the way, suggest a busy season ahead.
