On 23 May 2025, the much awaited glitzy, inspirational and the glamorous evening of ‘26th Edition of Meril Prothom Alo Awards’ kicked off with the welcoming of various wonderful and most celebrated stars from Dhallywood in the red carpet which is followed by the series of jaw-dropping performances and proud moments for the achievers who shined through their consistency and hard work which reflected on the screen. To honor the excellence of creative works in Bangladeshi films, television, and music this award was launched in 1998 and it is taking place annually without fail.
