The first song from the highly anticipated film Daagi ‘Ektukhani Mon’ has been launched on Chorki’s YouTube channel. The romantic song stars Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza who are shown in a beautifully filmed segment that exudes love and longing.

Performed by Tahsan Khan and Masha Islam, the track is set to a score composed by Sajid Sarker and the lyrical aspect is highlighted through Sadat Hossain’s emotionally gripping poetry and fiction. Snippets of Nisho and Tama’s on-screen chemistry are included in the music video hinting that the two characters share a strong emotional bond. The film directed by Shihab Shaheen is a moving story around redemption and love and is a production by SVF, Alpha-i Entertainment and features Chorki.

In relation to the song, Masha Islam said she was happy to give her voice to a romantic song for an Eid release while lyricist Sadat Hossain stressed his efforts to add a poetic depth to the lyrics. And composer Sajid Sarker mentioned the melody of the song captured the nature of the film completely.

With ‘Daagi’ set to release this Eid-ul-Fitr, ‘Ektukhani Mon’ has already struck a chord with audiences heightening anticipation for the film’s premiere.
