Queens, directed by Nirjhar Mitra, is the debut of Mimi Chakraborty, who plays four widows with vengeance after an ominous death on the wedding day befalls this powerful Sarkar household and turns her sorrow into a measured revenge against a formidable coalition. The Roktofolok, under the direction of Parambrata Chattopadhyay, is based on the ancient curses resurrected through a missing sacred object, and the resultant demon-hunter, Agambagish, is forced to fight the agonized evil in contemporary Kolkata.
