Aneet Padda is getting the dreamiest debut in Bollywood with ‘Saiyaara’ as the movie is getting massive attention from fans and audience earning crores in pre-sales. But as many like to think, Aneet Padda is not a product of nepotism but a self made young star.
Aneet Padda is not from any industry background but has made a sufficient filmography for herself so far. Aneet was first seen in the 2022 drama ‘Salaam Venky’ alongside actress Kajol. Though Aneet’s role was minimal, she was recognised by actress- director Revathy, who was helming the movie.
Aneet Padda was born in Punjab’s Amritsar who later moved to Mumbai to pursue her acting career. She began her onscreen career with advertisements and brand commercials. After her small credit in ‘Salaam Venky’, she then had her big breakthrough, now in OTT.
Greater recognition came from the 2024 Amazon Prime show ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ where Aneet plays the role of Roohi along with big names like Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, Zoya Hussain and others.
Aneet apart from being an actress can also sing and write songs, with her voice heard in ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ soundtrack. She was also critically appreciated for her role as Roohi, carving a way for her to perform and stand out in the series.
She then auditioned to Mohit Suri ‘Saiyaara’ for the role of the female lead in his upcoming romantic drama. Her presence as the female lead has already been fruitful alongside Ahaan Panday who is the male lead. Aneet Padda is taking the internet by storm as ‘Saiyaara’ has surged massive attention from fans while the actress is also shining bright in her role.
Mohit Suri is known for films like ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Ek Villian’ and has now prepared a similar story where the troubled rockstar or hero is relieved by a kind heroine who then has to leave the hero with the music already a hit among the fans. ‘Saiyaara’ is hitting the screen on 18 July 2025.
