The Central Bank of Bangladesh and according to the government notification issued by the Cabinet Division on 2 July 2025,, that August month will have two major holidays – 5 August 2025 is announced as a public holiday. Recognised as July Uprising Day, the day will be a public holiday, a government holiday for similar organisations and offices.
Naturally bank holidays will also fall under the category. The other day for bank holidays is Sri Krishna Janmashtami on 16 August 2025.
