Mango exports from Bangladesh are growing substantially in major Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain. 3. Himsagar (Hindola)

Himsagar is a premium mango that is fiberless and provides:

  • Very smooth texture

  • High amount of juice

This variety is primarily exported to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

4. Fazli (Fajli)

Fazli is a large, mildly sweet mango that can be used in a variety of ways, including:

  • Making pulp and products
  • Exporting (to Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates)

5. BARI-4

The recently-developed BARI-4 provides:

  • Standard size (for the same variety)
  • Standard taste (for that type of fruit)
  • Greater shelf life (for the same type of fruit)

The BARI-4 variety of mango is quickly expanding in competitive markets in the Middle East.
