Bangladesh ranked 47th in world Powerful Countries and 29th in Business Opportunities Index – Stats and Details Here

The South Asian country with a massive population is surprisingly ranke at 47 in the World Powerful Countries Index with a good jump in other rankings as well.

Bangladesh is ranked 47th in the Powerful Countries Index and ranked at 29th in the data of countries open for business according to a report by US News and World Report. The ranking depends on various categories and sectors of 73 attributes and into 10 sub rankings. 

The survey conducted around the world and for nearly a month was released in September 2024 stated that Bangladesh is ranked at 71 in overall ranking. “The world’s most powerful countries are the ones that consistently dominate news headlines, preoccupy policymakers and shape global economic patterns. Their foreign policies and military budgets are tracked religiously. When they make a pledge, at least some in the international community trust – or fear – they will keep it. These countries project their influence on the world stage”, said the US News and World Report. 

Among the total ranking, USA was ranked at No.1 while China, Russia, United Kingdom and Germany followed by making up for Top 5. South Korea was ranked at sixth place and France, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Israel are ranked at the Top 10 slots. 

The subrankings are detected based on several factors like entrepreneurship, open for business, heritage, quality of life to power.
