By 28 October 2025, after the world price market volatility, gold prices in Bangladesh have slightly declined. The gold price per gram of 24-karat gold is ৳15,591.26, this is a decrease of 0.83% compared to the previous day. The 18 karat rate is around ৳11,693.45 and 14 karat gold is trading at ৳9,120.89 per gram. The fall is an indicator of low investor demand and a high index of the U.S. dollar. The spot price is still affecting the local gold market (around $3,964.31 per oz), which is subject to the exchange rate, 1 USD = ৳122.30. Although the domestic jewellery demand is slightly volatile, it is stable particularly in lead-ups to the festive season.
