Masters Program 2025 began in Dhaka University: Know the qualification, eligibility & admission process

Applications are invited from the candidates who are interested in doing their masters in the Accounting and Information Systems department under the faculty of Business Studies. Dhaka University has officially started their admissions for the 16th batch [July – December 2025]. While applying for the Masters in Professional Accounting, these applicants must meet the set of qualifications and methods during the process.

Qualification

Must have –  

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Second class or division or CGPA 2.5 (out of 4.00) in all public examinations.
  • At least one year of job experience.
  • Work experience in accounting, finance, auditing and income tax.
  • Work experience must be under ICAB, ICMAB, ACCA, Global ICSB and FCA institutions.

About the Course

Duration of the program: 2 years.

Credit hours: 51.

Number of courses: 16, there will be one project paper.

The applicants must undergo a MCQ and a written exam. In the MCQ exam one must solve the questions of Mathematics, English Accounting or General Knowledge (for the non-business education students). During the written exam the applicant will be tested with translation and paragraph writing. After that they will take part in an oral exam.
