Following their victory in the ODI series BAN A landed into the field with much hope, whereas, NZ A has come with their win in the last ODI. The weather before the match has been forecasted that there is a possibility of rain and the pitch of the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium is naturally batter-friendly but it is quiet for the test matches because it changes slow and favours a lot for the spinners.
Rain Delays the match
As Bangladesh Skipper Nurul Hasan won the toss he strategically chose to bowl first. But the unfortunate rain has stopped the game for a while and this could favour the Bangladesh A pacers a lot since the pitch after rain becomes uneven and leads to extra swing and seam movement.
Rhys Mariu and Joe Carter of NZ A are on the crease with 25/0 on the scoreboard and 7 overs have been finished. BAN A has utilised three bowlers which includes Ebadot Hossain, Khaled Ahmed, adn Hasan Murad.
