The AFC Asian Cup 2027 Third Round Qualifier game between Bangladesh and Singapore could be a massive decider to set the tone for the rest of the season for Bangladesh in 2025. The Bangladesh team is stealthily moving from a victory against Bhutan in a friendly match and a draw with the top seeded Indian team in Shillong.
The head coach Javier Cabrera who is with the team for over three years recently jolted his reliant field positions of 4-3-1-2 , a solid defense formation yet bringing success with the young team. He deployed ,tactfully, two midfielders alongside four defenders as seen in the match against Bhutan at home and even had one central and three players up front.
The match on Tuesday, 10 June, can also have the 4-2-3-1 set up, which was last seen against India in the AFC Cup qualifiers.
