Former Bangladesh Skipper to be announced as President of BCB. Who is he?

An internal tension is brewing within BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) after the unforeseen removal of Faruque Ahmed from the position of President and Chairman of the Game Development Committee. Though he is acknowledged for his better approach for the development of youth, sources state that he is linked to the struggles of the internal power. Resistance from influential board members who are dissatisfied with his decisions has forced them to remove him from his position. This reflects the speculations over the governing issues within the board which is yet to be clarified by the BCB itself.

Based on the information that is discussed on the trustable sources it is expected that the former Bangladesh National team skipper Aminul Islam could be appointed as the President of BCB. The reports stated on the Prothom Alo ensure that he has been appointed as the Councilor and soon will be announced as the NSC’s nominated Board Director by the BCB’s National Sports Council.
