Tensions and conflicts between India and Pakistan at the border have been expanding day by day since 6 May 2025, late night. The exchange of attacks between the Armed Forces of two countries has heightened the panic across the crucial cities and borders in India & Pakistan. In considering the nationโs security as the top priority, BCCI has decided to suspend the ongoing IPL 2025 matches temporarily. The date of resume hasn’t been confirmed yet by them. But it has been officially declared and circulated on social media pages.
โThe BCCI has formally notified all franchises of the suspension of IPL 2025. This decision was made in the interest of national security and to stand in solidarity with the Indian Armed Forcesโ – BCCI
Also, it is to be noted that Pakistanโs PSL 2025 has been changed completely to UAE in response to the ongoing escalation of conflict.
