The third day of World Test Championship Final 2025 has ended with South Africa’s second innings who are left with 188 runs to chase down, 8 more wickets in their hands and two days left. It looks so bright that Proteas have all the possible chances to lift their ICC title after two decades. One of the most attractive factors is they will defeat the defending champions Australia who have been showing their dominance during every final they take part.

The world is rooting for South Africa who boldly landed Lord’s with the playing XI who are not equally experienced like the Aussies. But the young talents might create history through their jaw dropping victory.

Past Successful Chases of South Africa

While digging out their past chances they have a good stat against Australia as their opponents, the following are the most successful chases of Proteas.

If SA chase down their target of 282, skipper Bavuma would enter into the book of history of cricket by becoming the first ever captain to lift the ICC title after many hurdles that stopped him in many forms. Drop your comment that who will lift the trophy?
