The Bangladesh Airlines has changed its direct flight operation between the Osmani International Airport in Sylhet and London Heathrow Airport. These changes are part of the overall strategy by which the airline will improve its international services before the winter schedule. The passengers are prone to the changes in the departure times, aircrafts, and even the temporary suspension during a specific date. The flagship flight, BG201 also remains in use several times a week with Boeing 787. The service between Sylhet and London runs about five times in a week, usually on Wednesday to Sunday. On-time performance is good, but sometimes there may be delays caused by operational constraints or a situation in the air traffic.

The passengers might be flying either 787-8 or 787-9 Dreamliner. Although they both have a comfortable long-haul experience, the 787-9 has slightly more seating space and more recent in-flight services.
