Portraying Sudha in Musafir Cafe
Pinto is Sudha Tripathi, a lawyer, who meets Vikrant Massey’s Chander at an arranged marriage meeting and at first dismisses the possibility of the two getting together. Fate throws them together in Bhopal and what follows is a slow, layered love story shaped by ambition, loss and timing. Sudha lost her father at a young age and was raised by her mother thru difficult circumstances, a backstory that adds weight to the choices her character makes later in the series. “The show’s grounded and relatable portrayal of love and life decisions seems to be resonating with audiences,” Pinto has said.

What’s interesting about Pinto’s rise is that she has done it without any family connections in the film industry, at a time when discussions about nepotism in Bollywood are frequent.
